Poll: Obamacare stumps uninsured

Despite saturation media coverage of the Affordable Care Act, many uninsured Americans remain clueless about Obamacare offerings, a new poll suggests. Calif. premium hikes at 4 percent

Fears of big increases in Obamacare premiums in California apparently were unfounded, as hikes for 2015 appear to be just over 4 percent. California consumers worried that out-of-pocket insurance expenses could soar under the Affordable Care Act are nearing the protection of state law. Survey: Uninsured still uncertain

Two-thirds of uninsured Americans aren't sure if they'll buy insurance via the new marketplaces established under the Affordable Care Act, a new poll indicates. Only 19 percent of those polled said they planned to buy coverage by the Jan. 1, 2014, deadline, pollsters found.
