Vision quest ended by governor

The Legislature-approved plan to set up a vision-care service connected to Covered California suffered a veto by Gov. Jerry Brown. Eligibility questions need answers

Almost 100,000 California families face loss of Obamacare coverage because of eligibility "inconsistencies," state officials say. The deadline is the end of the month. Dental plans set by Covered Calif.

California's Obamacare operation is offering new "family" dental plans to its 2015 offerings, in addition to the previously announced pediatric dental expansion. The dental plans that offer care to adults are stand-alone and come with no financial assistance. Voter support for Obamacare rises

The Affordable Care Act is registering historic levels of voter support in California, thanks in large part to the state's successful rollout of its insurance marketplace. Fears of big increases in Obamacare premiums in California apparently were unfounded, as hikes for 2015 appear to be just over 4 percent.
