Covered California continues to see a surge in enrollments, with 53,510 people signing up for healthcare policies in the three-day period of Dec. 16-18. Enrollment in Covered California health care plans doubled in November, officials said, with 78,377 people signing up for coverage. The total number of enrollments as of Dec. 7 was put at 156,143.
