Saying, "We've started strong," the health insurance exchange Covered California announced first-week signups of 16,311 households. About 28,700 individuals completed eligibility determinations. Covered California is up and running. For the most part. Enrollment ‘day of action’

The nonprofit, nonpartisan group Enroll America plans a "national day of action" on March 23 -- the third anniversary of passage of the Affordable Care Act -- in order to spread the word about health insurance reform.
